In the bustling streets of Mandaluyong City, there’s a young creative making waves in the fashion scene—John Patrick Mendoza, better known as Praise Trickk. For him, fashion isn’t just about looking good; it’s about expressing a culture, a vibe, and a lifestyle.

Praise has always been drawn to the energy of streetwear. “That’s my main aesthetic,” he shares. His love for 90’s East Coast hip-hop especially the iconic Wu-Tang Clan laid the foundation for his style. Those oversized fits, the rugged yet bold statement pieces, and that untouchable confidence from the 90’s? That’s what shaped his vision. With the added guidance of his big brother, who’s also into fashion, Praise found his lane.

Creating content came naturally. You’ll often catch him in Makati, a short trip from his hometown, shooting fit pics for social media. But for all the effortless swag he exudes, the grind is real. “My biggest challenge got to be thinking about a new outfit,” he admits. “It’s so hard to make an outfit and to perfect it in your point of view.” That pressure always needing to outdo yourself is something every creator knows too well.

Yet, Praise didn’t just stay in the background. His creative mind and passion for streetwear caught the attention of several brands, leading to collaborations that made noise on TikTok. In fact, he helped spark a trend with a smooth transition and the infectious beat of “WADADADENG,” turning heads and setting timelines on fire.

For Praise Trickk, this is just the beginning. His journey shows that fashion isn’t just about fabric and sneakers it’s about culture, influence, and creating a lane that feels authentically yours
